The Mierish family are among the most well-known producers in the coffee world. Originally from Nicaragua, they have been coffee farmers for generations. About six years ago, they decided to purchase a farm in Honduras in order to take advantage of the country’s incredible climate and geography. From there, they rose to the top of the Honduran coffee industry by winning this year’s Cup of Excellence competition. This lot comes from a small section of their Los Liros farm, and illustrates how even the subtlest location change can result in a truly unique cup.
