TALA × Kiss the Hippo: A Collab Tee, a Special Drink & a Community Run

The best part of a run? Coffee afterwards.

This March, we've teamed up with our neighbours and friends at TALA for a capsule collection celebrating coffee, movement and community. What started as a personal love affair between TALA founder Grace Beverley and her favourite coffee spot (us!) has grown into a collaboration we're really excited to share.

The Collab Tee

As neighbours on Carnaby Street, it only felt right to create something special together. We've designed a limited-edition TALA × Kiss the Hippo graphic tee - perfect for your coffee runs, your actual runs, and everything in between. Available on our website and exclusively in-store at our Soho café.

The TALA Hojicha Cappuccino

We've crafted a signature drink to mark the collaboration, available exclusively at our Soho café.

Hojicha is being called the next matcha for 2026. A roasted Japanese green tea with a naturally smooth, caramel-like sweetness that pairs beautifully with espresso. Low caffeine. Naturally calming. Rich in antioxidants.

We've combined it with our house espresso - the George Street Blend - our homemade Nut Mylk, Oatly cold foam, and lightly sweetened it with date syrup. Natural sweetness, no refined sugar, just quick energy from whole food. Available as full caf, low caf, or decaf.

Conscious Energy. Refined Performance.

Whether you're fuelling up before a workout or recovering after one, this drink was made with both in mind. Natural energy from dates and espresso, with a low caf hojicha option for calm, sustained focus without the jitters. Antioxidant-rich hojicha supports cellular recovery, while our homemade Nut Mylk provides healthy fats and protein for muscle repair.

Available 19th March to 1st April at our Soho café.

TALA × Kiss the Hippo Run Club

To celebrate the launch, we're partnering with TALA to host a 5km community run through central London on Sunday 22nd March. Starting at TALA's Carnaby Street flagship and finishing right here at our Soho café for coffee and pastries.

The run is being led by Maya Bhat and Freya Blount, founders of Battersea Run Club and members of the TALA community.
