Certified organic by the Soil Association, the George St. blend is our go-to house coffee. Strong enough to shine through milk, George St. is carefully roasted to highlight the coffee’s robust, natural flavours while also pushing the coffee to have a deep sweetness that helps create a syrupy body. This version of our mainstay blend was created by combining two coffees from Latin America: the Colombian coffee Los Vascos and the Peruvian San Fernando. Together, they create a crowd-pleasing combination of sweetness and strength.
Los Vascos is a cooperative of producers who work together under the name ASOTBILBAO. Each of them have small farms that are lush with coffee trees and nature reserves – a combination that makes the area look more like jungle than farmland. The cool weather of this mountainous region creates a terroir that is known for its deep caramel sweetness and light fruitiness.
The Peruvian San Fernando comes from two cooperatives in Cusco. The history of cooperatives in Peru goes back decades, and their collaborative nature is central to what makes Peru one of coffee’s most crowd-pleasing and reliable origins. The Peru coffee profile is all about balance and light sweetness, and San Fernando is all that and more: a calm acidity supports the lightly fruity flavours with a gentle chocolate note throughout.
Organic House Blend was created by blending two organic coffees from Latin America: the Colombian Los Vascos and the Nicaraguan San Juan. Carefully roasted to highlight the coffees’ vibrant and natural flavours, House Blend is a crowd pleasing combination of sweeetness and balance.
Organic Classic Blend was created by blending two coffees from Latin America: the Brazillian Dutra and the Colombian Belen. Combining the intense nut-and-chocolate flavours of the former with the smooth sweetness of the latter, this is a big, bold roast which you won’t soon forget.
Organic Decaf is an easy-to-drink, classic coffee. Decaffeinated using the all-natural sparkling water method, it's made from lots grown in the forests of the West Nile. The coffee cherries here ripen slowly, creating a naturally sweet, complex cup which is incredibly smooth and balanced.
