Everyone, from complete beginners to keen home brewers. Our master brewers and expert baristas are always happy to answer any questions you may have along the way.
The Coffee Tasting Experience runs 1 hour 30 minutes. Home Brewing, Latte Art and Home Espresso each run 2 hours. The exact duration is noted on each workshop product.
Hands-on teaching from our team, a 250g bag of our Roaster's Choice Kiss the Hippo coffee to take home (or coffee vouchers on the Coffee Tasting Experience), as much coffee as you can drink on the day, and dairy alternatives are always available for non-milk drinkers.
Our workshops take place across our London cafés. The Coffee Tasting Experience is held at Soho, Bloomsbury and City. Home Brewing, Latte Art and Home Espresso take place at Fitzrovia and Spitalfields. Double-check your booking confirmation for the exact venue.
The number of participants varies by workshop and location. Our Coffee Tasting Experience seats up to 10 people at Soho and Bloomsbury, and up to 6 at City. Home Brewing, Latte Art and Home Espresso are capped at 4. We keep group sizes intentionally small so our master brewers and expert baristas can give each attendee the attention they need.

Yes. Email us at info@kissthehippo.com at least 48 hours before your workshop and we'll move you to another date, free of charge. Common reasons include illness, weather and diary clashes: we're happy to help.
You can cancel your booking for a full refund if you contact us at info@kissthehippo.com at least 48 hours before your workshop. Cancellations made inside 48 hours, or missed workshops, are non-refundable due to limited space and availability.
Just yourself. All the coffee and equipment is prepared for you. Please arrive on time as classes start at the exact start time.
Yes. Every workshop is available as a gift card, valid 12 months. We'll send a physical gift card to the shipping address you provide, or straight to the recipient. Each gift card comes with a code so they can book whichever date and location suits them.
Use the code on the back of your gift card at checkout. Codes start with a hashtag followed by 6 numbers, a dash and the workshop name (e.g. #123456-LATTE). One code per booking. Full instructions come with the card.
