Single Origin Gift Subscription
Each month, your recipient gets a freshly roasted 250g bag of single origin coffee — selected by our roasting team and roasted to order. Choose 3, 6, or 12 months, write a personal message, and set the date the gift email arrives. They'll redeem online, confirm their address, and choose how they like their coffee. Simple for you. Each month, our roasting team selects one of their favourite single origin coffees, roasts it to order, and sends it straight to your recipient's door.
One month it might be a bright, citrus-led Ethiopian washed coffee. The next, a deep, syrupy natural from Colombia. Then a rare microlot from Burundi, or a delicate coffee from the Asia-Pacific region arriving just as the seasons change.
Every coffee is chosen by our QC team for its character, clarity, and flavour. The result is a rotating subscription that introduces something genuinely worth looking forward to each month.

A simple email lands in their inbox on the date you select.
Your message appears at the top. Your name is on the sign-off.
They redeem their gift, confirm their address, and choose how they'd like their coffee prepared. Whole bean or ground to suit their brew method.
From there, a fresh bag arrives each month. They can pause deliveries, update their address, change their grind, or manage their schedule through their subscription portal.
When the subscription reaches the number of months you've chosen, it ends automatically.

Gift subscriptions are currently available for UK delivery only. All UK subscription orders include free shipping. Each monthly bag is dispatched directly to your recipient's address.

Simply choose the length, add your recipient's name, email, and a personal message, and pick the date you'd like the gift email to arrive. We then handle everything: sending the gift email on your chosen date, and organising each monthly delivery once your recipient has confirmed their address and grind preference.
You choose three, six, or twelve months. Each month a fresh bag of single origin coffee ships to your recipient. The subscription ends automatically at the end of the term with no auto-renewal.
No. The gift is fully paid for by you. They only enter their delivery address and brewing preference.
Yes. Pick any future date at checkout and the gift email will land in their inbox that morning.
Yes. Each month they can change their grind and adjust their delivery schedule from their subscription portal. Whole bean, French press, drip, or espresso, switched on a per-delivery basis.
Coffee prices vary, so swapping changes how much of the gift credit each delivery uses. A higher-priced coffee will reduce the total number of deliveries within the gift term, and a lower-priced one will extend it slightly. Grind, schedule, and delivery date can all be changed without affecting the term.
Yes. They control the schedule from their subscription portal. Pause for a holiday, skip a month, or shift the delivery date with no email to us required.
No. They get a subscription portal link in their welcome email where they update their address, grind, brewing preference, and delivery schedule. They only need to contact us if something has gone wrong.
No problem. They can pause the subscription from their subscription portal and resume when they're back. The remaining deliveries shift forward so they still get every one they were given.

Each one is chosen for its character and clarity. You might get a bright, citrus-led washed coffee one month, and a deep, syrupy natural the next. All coffees are roasted to order in our London roastery, so they arrive fresh and at their best. The result is a cup that's genuinely different each month and always worth looking forward to.
Our coffee bags are designed for recycling once the valve is removed. Please check your local recycling facility using the reference number printed underneath the bag. Our kraft boxes are made from recycled paper and are fully recyclable too.
Yes. Every bag, box, and delivery offsets more carbon than it creates. Kiss the Hippo's entire roastery operation is carbon negative.
Gift subscriptions are currently available for UK delivery only. If you'd like to gift internationally, you're welcome to choose from any of the products on our gift guide and send directly to your recipient. Unfortunately subscriptions are not yet available outside of the UK.
