Inspired by late nights, bright lights, and the energy of New York’s comedy scene, the New York Comedy Blend is all about comfort with character. Smooth, balanced, and easy to return to, it’s designed for early starts, late finishes, and everything in between. Built to work across espresso and filter, with or without milk, this is a coffee for conversation, reflection, and a little light relief this January.
The blend brings together two washed coffees from Costa Rica and Colombia.
The foundation comes from Costa Rica, Aquiares, grown on the mineral rich slopes of the Turrialba Volcano. Nurtured by volcanic soil and natural shade, this component provides the blend’s reliable backbone of chocolate and caramel notes. More than just an estate, Aquiares is a community at the forefront of biodiversity and social responsibility.
Joining it is Colombia, Virginia Salazar, a refined Pink Bourbon from the Quindío region. Undergoing an extended fermentation and meticulous drying, this lot brings a brightness and aromatic lift to the profile.
In the cup, expect classic chocolate and caramel sweetness, layered with a vibrant raspberry note that adds freshness without overwhelming. Balanced, approachable, and versatile, this is a blend built for everyday drinking across espresso and filter.
We don’t label our coffee as espresso or filter. Instead, for each coffee we create a unique roasting profile, designed to bring out the best flavours from its origin, farm and milling method. That’s why, instead, we label our coffee based on the experience it brings to the cup.
