Coffee tasting in Soho, Golden Square
Join us for a 90-minute specialty coffee tasting at Kiss the Hippo Soho on Golden Square, in the heart of central London a short walk from Piccadilly Circus and Carnaby Street. Small groups of up to 10 people, £50 per person.
Our dedicated workshops team guides you through the professional cupping method: the same technique used to score, buy, and roast the coffees you drink in our cafés. You'll taste a range of single origin coffees side by side, learning how origin country, altitude, processing method, and roast level shape what ends up in your cup.
By the end of the session, you'll start identifying tasting notes with confidence, pick up the language our team uses to describe coffee, and have a clearer sense of which flavour profile fits your morning brew. No prior experience needed. Drink vouchers included to enjoy on a return visit to our cafés.

- Each course takes 1 hour 30 mins.
- Complimentary free coffee vouchers to be used at our cafes.
- As much coffee as you can drink in the evening.
- For non-milk drinkers, dairy alternatives will be available on the day.
We understand that plans can change. You can cancel or reschedule your booking for a full refund if you contact us at least 48 hours before your workshop by emailing info@kissthehippo.com.
To ensure everyone has a chance to attend our workshops, please let us know in advance if you’re unable to make it. Reschedules must be arranged with at least 48 hours’ notice.
If you need to reschedule more than once, your booking will be converted into store credit equal to the booking value. This credit can be used on our website for any products or future workshops.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class, or non-attendance on the day, are non-refundable, as spaces are limited and prepared in advance.
Gift vouchers are refundable within 30 days of purchase (if unredeemed) and remain valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Once a voucher has been redeemed and a date booked, the same 48-hour cancellation policy applies.
If a workshop has not reached its minimum capacity, Kiss the Hippo reserves the right to reschedule the booking. If, for any reason, we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a full refund or help you move to a new date.
If something unexpected comes up, please get in touch. While we cannot guarantee refunds for last-minute changes, we will always do our best to help.
