Stories have a way of bringing people together. That’s why we’re so excited to announce that we’ve opened a used bookshop in our Richmond Café! Our goal has always been to create warm, inviting spaces where members of the community can gather and connect - we hope our new bookshop will make the time you spend with us even more special.
Best of all, we’re donating all book proceeds to the National Literacy Trust, which is an independent charity dedicated to promoting youth literacy in low-income areas throughout the UK. By providing comprehensive literacy programmes for families and schools in the communities they serve, the National Literacy Trust is able to help children of all ages develop the skills they need to succeed. They also conduct widespread literacy research in order to understand the most effective ways to create lasting change.
Next time you visit, feel free to read and relax while you enjoy your coffee. If you have any books you’d like to donate to our bookshop, bring them along with you! Every book donation we receive helps us keep the bookshop open for the community to enjoy.
