Carbon negative coffee

Giku Hill, a remote coffee-growing region in Burundis Kayanza Province. Home to dedicated coffee farmers whose livelihoods depend on this crop. In partnership with the Long Miles Coffee Project, these farmers are empowered to implement sustainable practices that enhance both coffee quality and environmental protection. Founded by Ben and Kristy Carlson, Long Miles has a proven track record of improving the lives of thousands of Burundian coffee farmers through social, economic, and environmental initiatives. This coffee embodies the resilience of the Giku Hill community and their unwavering commitment to producing exceptional coffee.

We don’t label our coffee as espresso or filter. Instead, for each coffee we create a unique roasting profile, designed to bring out the best flavours from its origin, farm and milling method. That’s why, instead, we label our coffee based on the experience it brings to the cup.
